I was born and raised in the beautiful rolling hills of Southeastern Ohio, much like our breathtaking Brown County. I moved to Georgia in April 1985 and thought I would call myself a Georgia Peach forever. However, a job transfer had other ideas. In January 1996, I found myself moving to Indiana…Brr. I now call this beautiful Hoosier State with all of its beautiful seasons and Hoosier hospitality, my HOME!
My first love was cosmetology (hairstylist). I attended school and passed my Ohio State Board exams and later applied for my license in Georgia. My first job was as a waitress @ a small diner owned by a family friend. Little did I know that this first job would be of such importance of forming my future. I worked there for 4 short months before being hired with the Kroger Co. I kept both jobs for over a year while maintaining my grades in school. Upon graduation I chose to work full time with Kroger. I worked for the Kroger Co. for 7.5 years. I was quickly promoted to Assistant Customer Service Coordinator which I held for 6.5 years. I took a job transfer to Georgia in April 1985 and worked for Kroger for another year. The remainder of my 10 years spent in Georgia... were as a waitress, then Assistant Mgr with Pizza Hut, hair stylist for The Prime Cut, server with the Hyatt Regency Ravinia, server with Long Horn Steaks (where they began before franchising) and Data Entry/Parts Control with Peach State Ford Truck Sales.
Upon moving to Indiana, I was a successful Service Advisor for Ray Skillman Ford for 6 yrs. Marriage and another career change came my way in 2002. In late 2003 I went to work at Methodist Hospital. I had a very flexible schedule and was able to pursue another life ambition. I wanted to become a Realtor. In 2004 I went to real estate school @ RECP (Real Estate Certification Program). I started my real estate career with Rich Real Estate Group, my first year with Century 21 Scheetz,LLC I was the December 2009 Sales Leader and a nominee for the Rookie of The Year. I am a member of the Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of Realtors (MIBOR), Indiana Association of Realtors (IAR), and National Association of Realtors (NAR). I have been blessed with a serving heart and have been very blessed to enjoy being referred by friends, colleagues, and past clients. My passion is helping others make an educated buying decision. I pride myself in always being available to help others (it doesn't matter if you work days or the graveyard shift I'll work around your hours) and as your Realtor, I will do my best to make the buying or selling experience as easy as possible. The real estate market is always changing. To serve my clients, I stay on top of those changes. On-going education and training are a must. I know that each client has different needs and I feel that it is my privilege to help you meet yours. I take the Realtor Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct seriously. I run my business with honesty and integrity. Please enjoy my website @ Sherri-Conkle-Realtor.com. It is just one of the many successful tools that I use to assist my clients in marketing their real estate. I’m a work-a-holic when not hard at work, which is a rare moment. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I have a Boxer, a Shih-Tzu and two cats that I have rescued that I love with all of my heart. I enjoy cooking, gardening, landscaping, camping, listening to music of all types, photography, horseback riding, listening to nature, boating, antiques, travel and motor cycle riding. I strongly urge recycling, ask me how. Thank you for getting to know me. I look forward to meeting you in person.
